SOMA SOMA SCENE is an online art magazine launched in October 2005 covering music, art, poetry.. everything aesthetically pleasing and intellectually stimulating.
We wish to write about our environment as and when it happens and where and who creates it. We appreciate that all artists have torn open their art for the rest of us to delve in, question and rape. We aim to protect and preserve their art and thus do not intend to berate them or their work unnecessarily. We have no care for modern journalism. We have merely to do with literature.
We also hold regular SSS multimedia club nights - DECASIA CLUB - of featured artists as it is often difficult for new artists, musicians and designers to find suitable and willing venues to exhibit their work. We have also launched DECASIAN RECORDS a label supporting our favourite new bands.
Our priority is getting art to the artists. We're aimed at artists with a passion who wish to read about their other talented contemporaries.
Read on if you wish and if you don't wish, then don't read. But remember, words are your friends for life. They will talk to you even if no one else does. :: Dee Sekar, Editor ::

Check out Decasia Club's recent dalliances
with the arts at Whitechapel Art Gallery.
Guest curator, artist Leslie Deere
and her team of superb artists filled
the gallery with moving images, paintings
and projections.
A limited edition fanzine was produced
in conjunction with the night which you
can see right here! A huge thank you to our
graphic designer, Rasha Kahil.
ddd - EP
Sonic noise duo, ddd release their first EP on Hansard Records. Guitar noise
pollution with angst-ridden vocals takes a classic formula produced in a new
semi-electric, semi-electronic way.
A string of high profile London dates to promote the EP commence from now.
